A. Educational Scholarship
Category 1. JNOFS – For Umuekpe Ntigha Community
Target: Undergraduates in public tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
What is covered?
Tuition fees – Undergraduates only.
Eligibility
• An applicant shall be in need of financial aid.
• An applicant shall be an undergraduate in readiness to successfully finish tertiary education in any public tertiary institution in Nigeria.
• An applicant shall be morally and academically sound.
• Applicants benefiting from other scholarships cannot apply.
Category 2. JNOFS – For Ntigha Community
Target: Two best overall second-year students in any public tertiary institution that are indigenes of Ntigha Community and open to students in various courses.
What is covered?
Tuition fees – Undergraduate's only.
Eligibility
• Applicants must be an indigene of Ntigha studying in Nigeria.
• Applicants must be undergraduates starting from 200 levels.
• Applicants must have a CGPA of 3.0 or its equivalent and above in the preceding year.
• Applicants benefiting from other scholarships cannot apply.
Application Process for the Scholarships
Entry Time
The entry time and closing time will always be determined and made public by the Board of Trustees of John Nwandilobi Onyebueze Foundation.
THE AWARDS ARE TIME-SENSITIVE.
Verification Right
By entering for the scholarship award, the applicants have given all rights to the Foundation to approach the mentioned communities/local authorities, secondary schools, and tertiary institutions or other relevant bodies for verification of the accuracy of the information submitted including their indigene, WAEC/JAMB registration eligibility, course studying, grade level, cumulative GPAs, and academic standing as applicable to each applicant
APPLICANT MUST PROVIDE ANY OR ALL REQUESTED INFORMATION.
Method
Step 1: Download the attached entry form and complete the required information and send it back to us via the education section of the website.
Step 2: Provide a valid WAEC result(s), JAMB/equivalent letter of offer of admission, authenticated transcript with a GPA of 3.0 or greater/its equivalent from candidate's current/previous tertiary institution for year one/its equivalent in the case of direct entry to year 2. (Not applicable to those applying for WAEC/equivalent, and or JAMB/equivalent sponsorship).
Step 3: Provide a birth certificate, local government letter of origin/identification, and or letter of identification from the village head or traditional ruler of your community with their contact phone numbers (mandatory in the case of village heads/traditional rulers).
Step 4: Scan and submit all documents above in one folder to submit to johnnfoundation@gmail.com
Notification
You will be notified of the receipt of your submission. All documents shall be verified. Inability to verify any submitted document will result in disqualification. The selection of winners shall be based on merit. No award shall be given until after the verification and selection exercise. Winners will be notified via email and/or at they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.
